at Next Step Resource & Recovery Center

Whether you are in recovery or a friend or a family member of someone in recovery, the Training Institute will provide you with the support, tools, and skills you need to help others. Addiction and recovery touch lives of all kinds. You can use your life experience to help others!

We encourage people with all backgrounds to apply and attend trainings. This includes people who are in different stages of recovery, have certificates or degrees from former careers, identify as LGBTQ, were born in other countries, have been incarcerated, are parents, have formal education or limited education. We’ll work together to find what works best for you.

Trainings are scheduled about a month in advance * and signing up ahead of time is required. Some courses are available in the evening or on weekends. All trainings, resources, and services are FREE. Many are credentialed by CCAR and other groups that provide certificates and connections to graduates of their programs. Call 718-808-1450 for schedule!
